TdR Summer Camp Health and Safety Guidelines

**Théâtre du Rêve and Synchronicity Theatre will follow all Georgia Health Department and the Center for Disease Control Health and Safety Guidelines as related to the COVID-19 pandemic.**

Campers and staff are required to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative Covid-19 test (rapid or PCR) 48 hours prior to the first day of camp. Campers and staff are encouraged to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth while indoors.

Staff members will be asked to take additional Covid home tests on the first and third days of camp.

We will limit the number of campers and adult staff members in the building for the duration of summer camp. Potential campers will be placed on a waiting list once we meet the recommended number of campers.

Snack breaks and lunch will be taken outdoors. In the case of inclement weather during lunch or snack, students will have a lunch/snack period during which they are socially distanced and all facing the same direction. Surfaces will be sanitized by campers and staff following any indoor eating.

Hand sanitizer will be available in the workshop room and rehearsal hall.

SYMPTOM CHECK

If your children are exhibiting any of the following symptoms, please keep them at home and notify the Camp Director, Caitlin Roe, immediately (staff members will be held to the same guidelines):

  • Fever or chills

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat

  • Diarrhea

A negative test will be required to return to camp. Any person exhibiting any of the above symptoms will be required to wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth while indoors.

What happens if my camper is no longer able to physically attend the camp due to Covid-19 illness?

In the case that a camper may no longer attend camp physically as a result of Covid-19 after camp has already started, tuition will not be refunded.

These guidelines are subject to change based on updates from the CDC.
